Work from home?

Like many others, I would honestly like to work from home.

I didn't have a job for about 2 years before I had my DD and my husband would prefer I didn't work so I can raise our DD in an old fashioned household.

Are there any stay at home jobs listed online NOT a scam? Are there any that actually pay out for work you do? I'm really computer literate so that is never anything to question (I used to do tech support for Dell and Vonage).

I'm just looking for any useful information such as web links to actual business sites, not personal experiences or stories about Avon or anything similar.

The message boards at workplacelikehome.com weed out the scams and have lots of info. I've gotten a couple of my WAH jobs through leads there.

I worked for West for awhile and it went fine. I got terribly sick of it, but it got my foot in the door for WAH jobs. I currently WAH for Lifebushido (also mentioned on those forums) and a Taos store. For both I do writing, research, creative brainstorming, and some publicity.
