I am starting to wonder if that could be causing my mc and infertility issues. I have had cysts in the past, have one right now in fact. and my cycles have been getting more irregular as time goes on. I am also fatter then I realy should be. should I give my ob a call and just ask what he thinks?

I have it I have never had a cysts that I know of but was told that my body type and never having regular periods (2 a year if that). were what gave my docs the clues. So I am just stuck being yuck! I was also told that if I kept my weight down it would help reverse some of the issues but after I had my son it went up again.
My doc gave me metformin the help consive and then keept me on to help reduce a miscarage though she didnt tell me at the time that is what it was for. Then it helped with the diabeties.

Have you had your thyroid levels tested? PCOS and hypothyroidism often go hand in hand.
I have some symptoms of PCOS (frequent ovarian cysts, one of which was abnormal; miscarriages; infertility; etc.), but I've never talked to a doctor about it.

I do have a slight case of hypothyroidism, and I am on a low dose of sythyroid for it. I just wonder if this is the cause of the mcs and other problems. because so far they havent found anything really that wrong with me. a slight thyroid problem and 1/2 of 1 part of a gene for a clotting disorder, which really I should have gone my whole life not knowing.
getting on the tread mill made it feel worse, so I know its deffinatly a cyst now. I called my ob and they are having me come in for a us almost 2 weeks from now. I think they are hopeing it just goes away and I call and cancel. the treatment seems to be losing weight, which Im already trying to do and fertility drugs to get pregnant.

You probably won't like this suggestion (no one else does :p), but I'd recommend going yeast-free and gluten-free.

actualy my diet is about 3/4 gluten free because of my dh. and while pregnant and nursing a small ds I was gluten free for a long time. didnt seem to help with anything. Ive also had major allergy testing done and yeast and gluten where ok.
I wonder if mostly the pcos could be because im over weight, the only pregnancy I have carried to term is the one that I got pregnant while I was working full time as a landscaper/gardner and was pretty fit. right now I get at least 30 mins on the treadmill daily plus farm chores and even though thats a decent workout its nowhere near what I was doing back then.

You can be sensitive to gluten even if you aren't allergic.

I have it as well. During my last c-section the cysts were so bad they remover one ovary, and over half of the other one. I was told this is why I have had at least 6 miscarriages back to back. I think Judy is right on. A friend of mine went gluten free, and she feels so much better now!

I have been gluten free...for many months and it made no difference.

I have PCOS and a prolactinoma, I can't wait until I have good insurance with good prescription coverage so I can get the meds I need to have both under control.
My prolactinoma meds are almost $700 a month, alone.
