He normally has the patience of a cow and he is very laid back and easy going most of the time. Well his doctor put him on wellbutrin because dh told him that he was having trouble concentrating.
I was given wellbutrin for ppd and it worked great for me. DH on the other hand has become VERY moody and wants to argue about everything and even seems to want to find reasons to argue. Its been a little over two weeks that he started this med and his mood has just gotten worse as the days go by.
For example dd2 was exercising with weights in the living room and I was helping her, DH had his back to her and was on the computer. When he turned around he said "go do that in your room!" She never uses weights unsupervised so I told DH that and he said "then she should just not use them" um her gymnastics coach wants her to lift weight 3-4 times a week. I just let it go and took dd to my room. Then he was looking for the remote and he found underneath a pillow on the couch and he accused dd2 of throwing it under the pillow. He was acting like a mad man looking for the remote. He does not even have patience for the baby anymore and she is not as attached to him as she used to be. :( I told him to call his doctor today but it just pissed him off.
I hope this does not get any worse or I am going to have to call his doctor myself. I know it takes two weeks for these kinds of meds to reach a therapuetic level so I really think its the meds that have altered his mood. Thanks for letting me vent.
