View Full Version : If my son made the laws, would you have a driver's license?

My 10-year-old son thinks that a person should know physics (understand angles, velocity, etc., very well) before being able to get a license. How many people would have their licenses if he made the laws? :gig:

Poor guy, had you been driving around in Atlanta when he came to this conclusion?
LOL. He has a pretty good point. I think I might be okay under his law, as long as I brushed up a little before testing and had some good coffee.
I do wish more people really understood that whole "two molecules cannot occupy the same space at one time" thing.

Nope, but my husband would still have one ;) He currently has a 97% in his physics class and interrupts to correct the teacher. I can't drive anyways, so it wouldn't make a difference to me:P

VA has some driving laws, and laws in general, that sound like they were made up by a crack team of 10 year olds. lol.
And I don't have a license. Haven't for 2 years. I still drive to the store, though.

LOL probably not. I still think it should be handed out due to maturity behind the wheel, and responsibility, not age. Like that would ever happen.

Actually he just came out of the blue with this. He's a deep thinker. I was downstairs doing laundry, and he just had to come down and tell me.

I do think 16, which is the legal age in GA, is too young.

I bet you can practically see the gears turning in his brain!
He's so smart, Judy!

I should have my girls pass his test when they are old enough to get their license. :)

He went into detail about using knowledge of angles to parallel park and everything. :gig:
