blood in pump & milk

Has anyone had this issue? I am freaking out, I have been pumping at work since February, this is a first! I BFed my DS who is 2 (weaned at 1) and am now BFing my DD who is 7 mos. Shuld I be concerned about the blood? It doesn't appear to have come from any crack and there is no pain from that nipple. HELP

I have seen one other post on this and some of the nurses commented that it is not a big deal. I would be worried about my pump being too aggressive and damaging or something...but I am no expert on this! Hope it resolves on its own!

It's happened to me once or twice. There's probably a crack that you can't see. And a little blood makes the milk look really pink! If you let it sit, blood will settle to the bottom and you can pour most of the milk out leaving the blood.

Maybe try a lower suction or take a break from pumping if you can.
