Hi ladies! I am new here. My name is Colleen and I am a mom to three kids. My youngest is turning 1 on Friday. She has been on antibiotics for the past few weeks for an ear infection that is hanging on. The antibiotics have caused thrush. I saw a big white sore under her tongue and she has been super crabby lately. The worst thing....she has stopped nursing! I was planning on going on BFing past 1 and letting the baby dictate when she wanted to wean. I'm sure that the sore hurts and thats why she isnt nursing at all. My question is....what do I do? She started oral nystatin yesterday to clear up the thrush. I have been pumping my milk and giving it to her in a cup. Is there anything I can do to bring her back to nursing? She wont even latch on now. She just looks at the boob and starts crying. :(
