Hair Loss Still???

I know I've read some where that some hair loss is common PP but my LO is 14 months old and I really can't stand the sight of the hair brush or while washing my hair!! My hair is even remarkably shorter in the middle of my scalp. SO I'm not sure if it's new growth or hair breakage ?:confused:

I'm starting to think maybe hormonal because even my cycles are unpredictable sometimes 15 days others 40.

We still nurse 4-6x and could this really be related to breastfeeding. I'm scared of going BALD!!! Help?!

I don't think this is related to breastfeeding. Instead, you probably should have your thyroid levels checked, or a screen for anemia. Are you getting enough to eat? Are you losing a lot of weight?

Hmm that does seem like a long time. I did lose mine untill DD was 9 months and iwa spreg again. IA with Singingmom

Thanks for the responses... where would I have go to get my thyroid levels checked? PCP or OB?

Well, since you are concerned about irregular cycles, I'd start with the OB. But it would be best if your OB and your PCP coordinated care.
