So, you are not seeing a letdown? Or is it a matter of not feeling a letdown? I know I stopped feeling it and thought it had disappeared but it really just became more subtle.

Is your lack of letdown affecting your yield? Are you pumping less? Pumping can be very psychological, you have to be careful not to obsess, it can turn from a mole hill to a mountain!

So my best advice for pumping: don't pay attention to your supply, read a magazine while pumping and distract yourself. Make sure your pumping area is quiet and not surrounded by any distractions. Using angled horns may give you a boost: www.pumpinpal.com

Change the membranes on your pump, if you haven't lately and switch to a hospital grade pump for a real boost in production as they are stronger and designed for all day use. Are you pumping while away from baby or is baby with you?

Is it in the am or the pm?

Since you are a SAHM,
I would honestly not worry about it to much. worrying will cause more issues than "going with the flow", so to speak. I do wonder why you pump 3-4 times a day if you are a SAHM unless you are returning to work soon. do you freeze all of that milk? I will also suggest that perhaps your period is fixing to return. Also after the first few months, your supply begins to regulate to be only what baby needs--not just hormonally driven oversupply. pumping 8 oz at a time is a lot to pump for most women.
