I am breastfeeding my 9 day old but he's having trouble latching on so i am supplementing with formula. So to keep my milk flowing i started to pump. But i tend to get very busy during the day and i am not able to pump EVERY 2 to 3 hours. When i first started pumping i was getting about 2 ounces of milk between both boobs. Now that i'm not keeping up on it i'm only getting about an ounce. Is there anything that i can do to make more milk?? Because what i am pumping is not satisfying him and he's constantly up during the night. Please help...... I need more milk!!! "wait1"

The LCs on here will have wonderful advice for you and I know one recommendation will be that you must nurse, nurse, nurse or nurse, pump, nurse, pump to maintain your milk supply. You need to see a Lactation Consultant to assist you with the latch issues.
All that pumping can be exhausting as is nursing every couple of hours. The first three months with an infant are physically and mentally exhausting. However, the rewards are great.
I hope that you get the help you need! You came to the right place. Hang in there!

I know it's hard when you're busy, but if you want to breastfeed and if you want to have enough milk to feed your baby, you need to make nursing (or pumping, if baby won't nurse) your priority. In order to maintain milk production, you NEED to pump at least every three hours if baby isn't latching.
I would recommend contacting an IBCLC in person who can help you get your baby latched.
If your baby IS latching and accessing the milk, then you need to work on slowly decreasing/eliminating the amount of formula he's getting. You should do this only under the guidance of an LC, who can do regular weight checks with you to make sure he's getting enough.
