in the beginning, i was worried i would not have enough milk stored in the freezer before i went back to work. now, it seems that i have too much milk stored in my freezer. i freeze the milk laying flat. i stack them in boxes and i've filled the first and second shelf in the freezer. the other is reserved for our frozen foods and meats. is anyone else experiencing the same thing? where do you store your milk? my hubby isn't willing to invest in a small freezer. what can i do with the extra milk? i hate to pump and dump.

If you have excess milk that your little one is not going to use, I suggest donating to another mama in need of your milk.
There is a private human milk donation/receiving web site called Milkshare. The address is www.milkshare.com. You can donate to another mother you select to receive your milk.
As a donor of over 1500 ounces of my breast milk, I encourage anyone to donate informally so that others may benefit from your liquid gold.
Just a thoughtful idea of what you can do with the milk if it is truly an excess that your child is not going to drink:) If you have any questions about Milkshare, please feel free to ask.
