Hi everyone! I am an expectant mother, 33 weeks along, who had a friend give me a breast pump that she bought but never used. It is a Medela double electric pump. However, there is no wall plug for the pump! She says she cannot find it. I was wondering what kind of plug is used, and if it has to be bought special or if any AC adapter or other plug will work. Thanks.

I think you could contact an local LC or even Medela and see if this is an item that you can purchase directly from them. I've gotten replacement plugs and adapters on my Medela pumps before, usually from my LC. Which pump is it?
Oh and congrats and welcome to the boards!

you can order one online, but make sure if the pump is an advanced that it be an adapter for an advanced rather than a original. it is a specific wattage and if you don't use that wattage your pump wont work or it will burn the motor up. or you can buy a universal adapter from radio shack. turn it up to 12 volt or 9 depending on the pump. and there is another up and down switch on there for polarity so flip it up or down and it will work one way or the other.
