This exactly. I pretty much only visit this forum, so I don't know if there is spam somewhere unless someone emails me. When I get an email about a spam thread, I delete it immediately.

It's not a PM. It's a link you click on to flag a thread, and it automatically sends me an email with the subject "Reported Post from Forums". I'm not sure exactly what you click on to do that, but perhaps someone else does.

As far as why I would want to be a mod of a forum I don't visit - I believe I am a mod in ALL the forums, save the LC forum and the purpose was to have a couple people who have the ability to remove spam in all forums. I'm also a mod of the "Teen Moms" forum, but I don't read that forum either. I know you have expressed disgruntlement with me being a moderator here even though I spend more time at a different website. If you have a problem with me being a moderator, you can certainly talk to Sassy about it.

Like I said, when someone flags a spam thread, I delete it immediately (within a day, usually much less) after I receive the email that a thread was flagged. Even if I don't visit here multiple times a day, I do check my email multiple times a day. My understanding was that was the primary purpose of having the moderators.

You click on the red triangle in the upper right portion of the person's post (next to the number of the post).
