I really want to read, read, read about the health care debate, but I don't have a ton of time---so I thought I'd ask for a simplified version here. If you have great links, I'll save them for when I have time to read them. Dh and I are very interested in this.
1---what is the fuss about? Why can a compromise not be reached?
2---What is a public option and why can it not be done without it?
3---How does this affect expatriates?
4---Does this cover immigrants (legal and illegal)? Does the US require all immigrants to buy their own health insurance? We must here. It's a pretty good idea.
5---What exactly will happen to health care coverage as we know it?
6---Do you like the proposed plans? If so, why? If not, what would you change?
I will catch up on this thread later. I'm in the middle of canning tomatoes. TIA!!!
