Can you suggest a bath oil for a sensitive eczema suffering child?
I was reading up on Wet wound wrapping (suggested here) and it says to allow them to soak in a tub w/ lukewarm water and bath oil. Some of her skin is broken open from scratching so it must be something gentle.

I would probably use something like extra light olive oil (very little smell), maybe almond oil anything that could be used as a carrier oil for essential oils.

Since nut allergies are so common, I'd use olive oil but not almond oil.

Olive, safflower, sunflower or coconut are all good choices.
Have you eliminated her allergens? Such severe eczema isn't common unless a child is actively reacting to an allergen.

She got referred to a Ped. today(here everyone goes to a fam. doc first). for allergy testing b/c of the Eczema and a cough. They are thinking maybe she has reactive airways or asthma triggered by the same allergen as the eczema. They gave her Prednizone and a cream in the mean time...
Has anyone else heard of this? Did that make any sense? LOL.

Yes, allergies can trigger asthma or reactive airway disease. Jacob's asthma is triggered by allergies, illnesses, and exercise.

Have you tried eliminating anything yet? With eczema so bad that you are looking into wet wrapping, I don't think I'd wait for allergy testing, I'd be eliminating foods (starting with dairy, eggs, nuts and soy).
