Found A Lump In My Breast

I found a lump in my breast and went to my midwife to have her check it out... I have an app Monday morning for a breast ultrasound (they do not want to do a mammogram because we are breastfeeding)... I'm scared and worried about it... My family has a really big history of breast cancer and the closest relatives to me who have had it are my aunt and my grandma... I am only 21 but my Aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer at a young age too... I think she was in her late 20's... Anyway thoughts and prayers would really be appreciated... Seems like we just cant get a break from all these medical bills...

Most breast lumps turn out to benign - remember that. With an aunt and a grandmother having had breast cancer, you should probably start having mammograms early. I hope you get good news.

I am so sorry. Just remember that MOST of the time it is absolutely nothing to be worried about and it is benign a good lot of the time.

That said, I know it is scary. I had the same thing happen. The waiting was hard. It turned out to be nothing of concern. Keep us updated!

How scary! I had one pop up but thankfully it turned out to be nothing other than an "excited milk duct", I hope that is all that yours is!
