Fall...

...fell on my head! Outta nowhere, it's 50°F! WTH?! It feels more like Spring than Autumn though. Last week it rained and rained; yesterday and today were blustery and windy.

I'm thinking about turning on my heat.

Yeah, I'm excited. It was only 80 something today after being 98 yesterday. I hope it sticks.

It seems colder than it should be here
... I mean, yeah , its fall- and it is far from COLD-
but it's florida shouldn't it still be sweltering??
Does this mean it will be a freezing winter?

I have been freezing lately! Normally I don't get cold and am hot all the time..

lol. That is how it was here too. We had a mild summer and I was really looking to having a great fall. It is freezing and we had to turn on the heat this morning. :( Waking up to the house below 60 will do that to you. We had wind gusts up to 50mph the other day. The dampness from all the rain doesn't help either.


BHF, The Weather Channel said that we were going to have an El Nino effect this fall. :nono: The Farmers Almanac though said it was going to be a harsh winter. I am believing TFA right now more than anything else. The Weather Channel for all of it's glory cannot really predict our area accurately for some reason as the local stations.

Shoot! I know! We were literally wearing tank tops ans shorts one day and long sleeves and pants the next! I am loving the weather though, minus what it does to my kids enviornmental allergy wise. Poor Lilly has been reacting to everything she eats or touches. Poor gal does that this time of year when all her sesaonal allergies flair up. But I am glad the bugs will be dying off soon so DS can get relief from that!

We had white bean chili for super last night with homemade warm applesauce and apple cider afterwards!

I'm ready for cooler weather, just not cold weather. If the freakin' ragweed wasn't so bad, I'd leave the windows open.

I love Autumn weather, cool and leaves changing. I just don't like this out right cold weather we have been having!

I'm in an area that usually has beautiful fall colors. However, our leaves are odd this year. It's as though they're going from green to dead overnight.

Here it went from high 80's to only high 50's. Tonight lows predicted in the 20's we're also supposed to get snow (no accumulation though).

And with the two years of lack of solar flares I think we'll be in for a rough winter.

LOL......we got a swift kick in the butt here to. I had no idea we were cooling off until it happnened over night......literaly:) We were 56degress this morning. It is so nice out right now. I feel like going for a walk see if I can get this baby to move down a little lower!
