nipples issues

With my first baby I had a hard time getting him to latch on due to hard nipples. after months of pumping and low supply I gave up but my nipples softened. I'm pregnant again and have some what hard nipples again. How do I get them to soften before the baby is born??

The firmness of your nipples should not interfere with breastfeeding. In fact, a firm nipple often makes it easier to latch. I'm unclear exactly what the issue is.
