Hello everyone!
Just wanted to say hi, haven't been on in a while. I checked the IHMMB (which I also haven't visited in a while) and I don't see the forum anymore. What is going on there?
I also had another question about flu stuff. I'm sure there have been many threads about it. I've been taking our chances, loaded the kids up with outside time for vitamin D, they are taking vitamins with Echinacea (SP?) and eat healthy. Elizabeth is still nursing, so that makes me feel good... but with Down Syndrome her immune system is supposed to be 'compromised' ... even though she's only been sick twice. She's 2 now. Still, I worry. I've not been keen on getting the vaccine because of the themerisol (SP again) in it. But I'm thinking about it the more I hear on the news.
What are you guys doing about it?
The kids are doing great. Collin is 6 now, and Evan is 4.5 and Elizabeth is 2. Elizabeth is signing around 20 consitstant signs, saying about 8 consistent words, and taking 2-3 unassisted steps. I think she's doing great. She's cruising and walking a stroller around the house. She's in a school program called REACH for 3 hours in the morning and really loves it. The ratio is 3 kids to 3 teachers!!!
Hope you are all doing well.
