Why are they in a box of corn?


I took them to one of those big corn mazes. The lighting was kind of odd, so the pics I got in the maze weren't great. But there was a corn box (like a sand box) afterward that the girls wanted to play in. I decided to put the baby in there too. I was afraid she'd try to eat it, but she was far too fascinated just feeling it to try to eat it thankfully.

She's doing really well. Took some pics of her scar recently. It's healing well, still kind of hard to look at to me though. But she seems comfy (except that at the moment we all have the flu).

Besides that, you'd never know she has heart issues. Thankfully that one is most likely fixed for good.

Awww. That would be hard to look at. I hope you all get over the flu quickly too!


A guy I know had two heart surgeries when he was little. They cut in what looks like the same spot as they did with your daughter, but he has one scar on each side. Anyway, I knew him when he was little and he used to tell people that the scars are from where God cut off his angel wings. :)
