Latching problem

Hi,

I have problem with breastfeeding.My baby is 7 weeks old.
I'm currently using nipple shields and i need to wean off from the shield

when she is relaxed i'll try to feed her without using shield.....but she doesn't know to latch properly...She is trying to latch but she is not able to latch properly.She is not latching even for a minute.After 2 or 3 tries she becmes fussy and cries alot.

I'm using cross over hold position to feed her

Once a baby gets used to a nipple shield it is sometimes not easy to wean, however it is definitely possible. Don't worry that it does not happen right away as it might take some time and don't fight with her, as she will most likely resist. Be patient and you will see results in time.
