Some of you may remember the news story from last May. Gavin and Garrett Coleman- students from the school I was teaching at, and their mother Sheri, were strangled to death.
The husband/father, Chris Coleman is going to trial for it. He was Joyce Meyer's personal bodyguard, and they allegedly knew about the fake threats Chris made towards his own family (trying to set up reasonable doubt from the very beginning), and they did nothing about them.
Sheri Coleman's family has filed a wrongful death civil suit against Chris Coleman, and has just added Joyce Meyer Ministries as a defendant.

I don't know if Joyce Meyer's ministry should be held accountable criminally, but I think the civil suit is justifiable.
I just wish the criminal trial would get on with. I hate how trials like this drag on forever and ever. The family and community deserve some closure.
