Hi all,

I'm new to the site and wanted to ask a question. My little boy has been happily breastfeeding for 18 months and I have always been able to take him with me when traveling for business before. This time I'm going overseas so it's not really feasible. I will be gone for a week and am worried about my milk supply. My son is mostly nursing in the morning and at night, but will nurse more on weekends when we're home together. Do I need to pump while I'm away, or will my supply be ok? Thanks for any help you can give!

You need to pump.

My advice for you is to drink softdrinks, it will generate a lot of milk after a couple of hours. And also as people said you need to pump up too if you cant wait the result. But most likely drinking soda would be very effective to have breast milk

a whole week is a long time, pumping when you wake up and before you go to bed should be enough to keep your supply fine.
