My baby is 10.5 months old. She is eating solids well and breastfeeds along with the meals. When I am away at work, caregivers report it is difficult to get the full feeding of milk in. I tend to be pumping about 3.5/4 oz at a session. She is drinking about 2 oz with the caregivers. Would this be because of not drinking during the day? She tends to want to nurse when I pick her up and seems to add in an extra feeding or two. Do I need to change things or leave it as is as long as she is growing and happy?

Thanks for your wonderful question. I would leave things as they are. She's in charge of how much and how often she eats. She is certainly making up for it when she gets home. What a great accomplishment to be nursing at 10.5 months.

I would love to use your question on my website. Would that be alright with you?
