pumping question

my daughter is 6 weeks and i used to pump before it broke i was wondering how should i incorporate pumping back into her schedule so i can have some stored on hand for car rides & such!!??5 mins on each before she feeds?

You should feed your baby first and then pump. You can pump right after the feeding, or during the feeding for example if she feeds on only one breast you can pump the other one at that time. At this point she is probably eating quite often, so it might be difficult to add a pumping in between feedings, but that is also an option. Keep in mind that you might not get as much when you are pumping as what you daughter would be able to nurse out.
