I was at a chinese food restaurant this past saterday. I was with a group of 9 people, some of which I knew, some I didn't. I needed to nurse my 4month DS and decided to go out on the back patio for some privacy. I don't always try to nurse in a private location; I've nursed at boothes and tables in restaurants before. But being that I was with such a large crowd. I decided to nurse elsewhere.
So, I got up and asked the manager if I could use the patio, because the patio was empty- I didn't know if the doors were locked. He stared for a second and I explained that I needed to feed my son. He enthusiasticly began to lead me to another area. I though maybe they had a lounge in the womens restroom or something. Nope. He put me in a broom closet! He was nice enough to bring a chair. I don't think I would have minded too much, except that next to the chair I noticed a large sticky trap full of roaches.
Since I was half way thru nursing I decided to stay in there. But I can't stop thinking about that expeience.
What would you have done?
