HI, I have begun the weaning process. I have know successfully weaned my son to only feeding at night and again in the morning.
My supply is getting low, which I dont mind because he is taking it well.
I began to feed him soy milk in a sippy cup because he did not like it in a bottle . He does not like soy cold, but he will drink it warm or room temp.
He is not drinking enough IMO. He will only have about 6-8 ounces a day and much rather drink cranberry juice or water.
What can I do to make him drink more milk?
My mom suggested to put some sort of sweetner like Nesquick in his milk.
Any ideas?

Thanks

He doesn't HAVE to have any kind of milk. if you give him water and watered down juices, he'll be fine getting all nutrition he needs from food.

just read up on calcium rich foods and offer some each day,
and offer other fluids.

also in the daycare i used to work at, this one mom would put some banana flavored oatmeal or something in his milk and he tore it up. So u may want to try that. Good luck and think milk is good but also if you use foods that have calcium or try asking his doctor about multivitamins that have a pretty good amount of calcium as well.. GOD BLESS

my one year old did the same thing with milk, she actually prefers water over milk. i just go with it, and try and give her milk once or twice a day, sometimes she drinks more then others

i'm raising my child vegan and have thus avoided all cow milk. juice is key!
