Sign up to exchange new/giftable books for kids for their winter holidays (does not have to be a holiday-themed book!). Open to everybody with 50+ posts as of 10/09/2007. Posters may sign up once per child: if you sign up three children, you will be committing to ship three books to (most likely) three different families.
Please PM me (posting questions or interest in this thread is fine, but I will be assigning partners based on PMs) with the following:
~ shipping address
~ which winter holiday you celebrate
~ child's age, name, reading level, and any other relevant information (for instance, "loves trucks" or "scares easily so no monster stories please")
~ willingness to ship internationally
~ if you would like to be partnered with a particular age or gender in order to share a much-loved book, please let me know and I'll try, but I can't promise that it will actually happpen
I will accept signups until midnight on October 24, and assign partners by October 29. Deadline will vary depending on what winter holiday your partner(s) observes, but will be in December.
I will ask Hal to sticky this until October 17, and all further discussion (after October 17) will be in the Planning forum.
