lol Thanks guys!

It must've been all crap or something (sorry, TMI!) LOL My belly feels so squishy now. Before it was bloated and hard, I guess. Now, I can tighten up my ab muscles and I can feel them several inches below the squish. :) It's that squish that I have to burn up. DH says the best way is to sweat my ass off. Now that I'm getting a hang of the eating thing, I'm going to have to find an exercise program that I can stick with. I still have my gym membership for a month before it expires. I have T-Tapp & Disco Sweat here. lol Gotta love Richard. ;) I'll figure something out.

Hi everyone. Today is a good day. :)

I've been decluttering my house. It's funny how feelings affect all parts of your life, isn't it? I think food is only one part of it.

I stayed in my points yesterday but I think I chose too many carbs. I feel better if I limit them and eat more of a variety of foods. AF is here and I guess I was craving comfort foods. Except now I'm not comfortable! heh

I haven't figured out the exercising part of my routine yet, but I'll get there. One step at a time. :)

Have a great day!

Today is a good day. :)

First, I got my kids off to school, my oldest in his Halloween costume.

Went to the store to get the drinks for their party, checked my lottery numbers.

I WON ON POWERBALL! WOOHOOOOO I'M RIIIIICCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

not really, but I won 3 bucks! :D

Next I was off to WW for my weigh-in. TWO MORE POUNDS GONE! Yeehaw!

Then, I rushed home to change and caught my son's Halloween parade. The kids all looked so cute. Off to the classroom for the party. It was a lot of fun.

I have my little guy home now and I'm going to have some lunch and clean my house.

Hope everyone has a great day. :D

Okey doke. Happy Monday. :) Starting over.

So this weekend I didn't do so great. I did great at times, but I indulged a bit. I also didn't count my points. Oh well. Life goes on. I had to have a piece of my niece's homemade apple raisin pie for my sister's birthday. :)

I went grocery shopping and bought more foods to be successful. I really think having good choices handy make a huge difference in how I'm eating. (well duh, of course. lol)

I was thrilled to see the weight loss when I went to the doctor's this morning. (My gorgeous, handsome doctor. *sigh*) I've lost 6 lbs according to my chart since the last time I was there. When I was there in July he said to shoot for 10 lbs by October. I realized after a while that I couldn't do it on my own. I'm glad I joined WW, and I'm glad I showed him something for my efforts. :)

I'm also more aware of the foods I get for my kids. No more junk. My 7yo is chuckling at me. ;)

Have a good day!

I had a rough weekend too. today is a new day. You can do it!

Unicorn
11-05-2007, 08:29 AM
Hang in there Stella! last week was a rough one for many of us, with all that temptation laying around it is really easy to just grab a handful of candy, or say the hell with it for meals.

Every single little step counts!

Pathway to Achievement

The best way to figure out how to do something is to do it. Make the
commitment to make it happen, and you'll start working your way through the details.

Don't get bogged down speculating on how something will come about. Instead, get started on the best approach you have, and follow the path wherever it may lead.

When traveling along a road, you can never see the entire road at once, but that doesn't really matter. What does matter is successfully making your way through the portion of the road that is right in front of you.

Work through the things that are to be done right now, and you'll put
yourself in position to handle the things that come along later.

Travel down this section of the road, and you'll then be able to travel the next section, and the next.

If you put all your energy into worrying about every little detail of how to reach your goal, you won't ever get started.

Instead, put your energy into reminding yourself why you have chosen to go there, and then do whatever it takes along the way.

You'll never know precisely how something is to be done until you actually do it. So go ahead, get started, and discover your own unique pathway to achievement.

Unicorn, thank you for posting that. When I read it the other night it choked me up. So true, so true.

I did better yesterday. I went shopping and made great choices, so I have only healthy foods to choose from at home here.

I guess underneath it all, despite the candy I ate and the lack of counting my points for most of this week I still managed to make good choices otherwise.

I lost another two pounds. Honest to God, I don't know how it happened. But I'll take it!

10 lbs gone. YAY!

The_Babycakes
11-09-2007, 09:52 AM
Holy Crap...10 pounds?! Well, you must be doing something right. :) That's so amazing Stella, I am so happy for you!

Usually shopping days are great days to 'start over' for me too. I'm so happy there are so many healthy versions of food out there to choose from so we don't feel so deprived.

Well I don't think I look any smaller, but I'm starting to feel smaller. Maybe it's all in my head.

And salad bloats me. I don't like salad. lol Gives me gas. I need a new snack.

Great Job on the 10 lbs!

Some snack ideas:

baby carrots, celery sticks, cucumber rounds, sweet peppers

Handful of high fiber cereal: Kashi cereal with rasins, cranberries,

apples

low cal soup

Boy oh boy, I've been avoiding here. I haven't been doing well.

I was supposed to 'start over' on Monday. Bad habits are so hard to break.

Last Friday I showed no change on the scale. I think it's hilarious that I have to weigh in tomorrow morning after I gorged myself on Thanksgiving dinner.

Oh well. It's quite the journey, isn't it? It was nice for my family to notice that I lost a few pounds, though.

Stella, hoping that your weigh in is not as bad as you think! And, that is great that your family noticed your weight loss!!! Keep on trucking it, Momma!

Stella

Well color me confused.

I lost a quarter of a pound. LOL I'm under 170! 169.8. I'll take it!

Holy crap. I thought for sure I gained.

Time to start regular exercise. I NEED to start.

The_Babycakes
11-23-2007, 09:11 AM
Woohoo! That should be a great motivator. Get to some excersize today! :)

GaPeachmommy

Woohoo, STELLA! Any loss is a loss! Keep up the good work. What type of exercise are you thinking of? Walking? Video/dvd stuff?

Stella
11-30-2007, 04:10 PM
Didn't exercise this week. Gained my 1/4 lb back. So I'm still at around 10 lbs lost. I haven't moved in 3 weeks. I need to start writing my points down again and START EXERCISING. Dammit. These weeks are flying by. I have to plan my days better.

GaPeach, I have T-Tapp & a Richard Simmons tape that I like. It's too cold for me to go out walking. I'm a wuss. lol I still have my gym membership until the end of the year so I may go there for the treadmill.

The_Babycakes

Hey sweetie, I've been thinking about you. I know right now is a stressful time of year, but try not to lose focus. Definitely try and get some excercize in. I tell ya, that's the only way I am surviving right now, because I can't control my food, so I'm focusing on excersizing. You know how good you feel when you do it, mentally, physically, and emotionally. It's hard to get back on that ball, but I know you can do it. Do it for yourself, you deserve it.

Stella

I've decided to give up WW meetings for now.

I missed Friday's. I'd have to go tomorrow and pay, then go again Friday and pay. I just can't afford it right now. I'm not going to quit trying to lose weight, just quit going to the meetings. I'll have to buy a scale, or better yet I'll weigh myself at my MIL's once a week. If I had a scale in my house I'd be on it every day going nuts.

The_Babycakes
12-10-2007, 07:47 AM
I'm sorry money is tight. :( I know the feeling, but don't get discouraged. Can you find something (free) that you can do/use to replace meetings? Something positive that will motivate you. I wish you lived closer, I would love to excersize together. It's a tough time of year, just do the best you can and don't give up.
