AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Bottlefeeding Without Guilt
Robin, Peggy
A self-published assault on breastfeeding advocacy by a mother whose breastfeeding experience was sabotaged by bad medical advice. Instead of directing her anger at the doctors who destroyed her breastfeeding relationship, she rants and rails at breastfeeding advocates and calls them "cultists"

When Breastfeeding Is Not an Option : A Reassuring Guide for Loving Parents
Robin, Peggy
Rehash of the misinformation in "Bottlefeeding Without Guilt", above. SCARY.

The Self-Calmed Baby
William A. H. Sammons, T. Berry Brazelton
Misinformation about breastfeeding: states that breastfeeding is of no importance, despite reams of medical research demonstrating the inferiority of artifical feeding.

On Becoming Babywise
Gary Ezzo and Robert Bucknam, M.D.
This book is a secular take on the fundamentalist view that babies are evil manipulative creatures. It advocates a feeding schedule that has no basis in lactation physiology, and encourages parents to ignore babies' cries so as to break their spirits. So far out of the mainstream that it has even been condemned by other Christian organizations, including the church where the program originated.

On Becoming Baby Wise : Book Two : Parenting Your Pre-Toddler Five to Fifteen Months
Gary Ezzo and Robert Bucknam, M.D.
How to continue breaking your child's spirit.

LEARN THE TRUTH ABOUT GARY AND ANNE MARIE EZZO!!! (http://www.ezzo.info/)

TO TRAIN UP A CHILD
MICHAEL & DEBI PEARL
I can't say anything more than this book is terrifying to it's very core. Any book that advocates spanking the hands of a baby in the highchair for throwing food, and spanking those hands with a ruler, is just as sick as they come.

Secrets of the Baby Whisperer:
How to Calm, Connect, and Communicate with Your Baby
by Tracy Hogg
Another book that will try to convince you that ignoring your baby is the sure fire way to avoid being "manipulated" by your TINY HELPLESS BABY.

The "What to Expect" Series
by Arlene Eisenberg, et. al.
A Sure fire guide to detroying your breastfeeding relationship in a hurry. The book "What to Expect the Toddler Years" is even more negative when it comes to breastfeeding a toddler.
