Just wondering, I have a cold now and I wanted to know if I
am contributing to making his cold worse by continuing to breastfeed him?

When you have a cold, or any illness, your body makes antibodies to fight off
whatever illness you have. By continuing to breastfeed your child at that time, you give
those antibodies to your child. By the time you get a cold, or any illness, your baby has
already been exposed. If you stop breastfeeding, you take away the antibodies from your
baby! Often the entire household gets ill, but not the breastfed baby!
