QUESTION: I have dequervains tendonitis in both wrists. Company doctor recommends I
take anti-inflammatories and or cortisone injections. I would like your opinion on
both including the facts. I am still breastfeeding twice daily.

Most anti-inflammatory medications, such at ibuprofen, naproxen sodium,
ketoprofen are OK to take (at normal doses) while nursing. Site-specific steroid
injections are not usually considered a problem either.
At your baby's age and small number a nursings per day I would not be overly concerned
about the baby being exposed to the very small amount of medication that would pass
through to mothers milk.
Good Luck
