expertise in medications and their possible interactions with breastfeeding to her
practice as a Lactation Consultant.
Anne runs a very active lactation consultancy service in Sterling Heights, Michigan called
Breastfeeding Specialists, Inc. Anne stopped counting how many mother-baby pairs she
has dealt with after they overfilled the fourth file cabinet. She still takes in
about 500 phone calls a month, many of them dealing with medications and medication
interactions.
