Topless Escapade
by Jenny Schroeder

During the first month of my little nursling's life, she and I developed thrush.

To care for my nipples I walked around the house with the flaps of my nursing bra down as much as possible.

Cruising the house in shorts and an unfastened bra became second nature to me.

When I finally got around to some of the laundry one day, I didn't think twice about stepping out into the garage with my basket perched on my hip.

I loaded the clothes and detergent in the washer, set down my basket, and casually turned around to see that the garage door was open.

"How nice," I thought to myself, "the neighbors across the street are having a family get-together on the front lawn.

That looks like fun."

I waved and headed inside.

Then it hit me.

They had all had front-row lawn chair seats to my topless escapade with the washing machine!
