Nipple and All

There is a bit of a story to go with the photo.

My daughter was about 5 months old and was in a very happy, smiley mood. She was looking so adorable right after a feeding that I asked my husband to grab the camera.

Well, AFTER he snapped a couple of shots he announced, "Uh, I think your nipple might have been in the picture."  I was livid!  Why didn't he say something BEFORE he took the picture so I could cover up or change position or something!? I had been going to the same face-to-face photo shop for over a year, and wasn't really relishing taking the film in, not sure just how "exposed" I was going to be.   But take it I did.

The happy conclusion is that once I saw the delighted look captured on my little nurslings face, I decided I didn't give a rip who saw it or what they thought.  And now I am hoping my picture - nipple and all - will be on the internet for all to see.  (I'm trying to think of the perfect caption to go with it, but maybe the look on her face says it all).

Fondly,
