My mother came to stay with us for a few weeks after the birth of our son.
I had been having a hard time getting my son to latch on, but I was determined to breastfeed him.
I couldn't have done it without my husbands support. He was right in there helping me, hands on.
 We were trying everything to stimulate milk production.
My husband would massage my breast and roll my nipples so my son could get a good latch on.
I was ready to give up, which is why my husband became so hands on, he was just as determined to get our son to breastfeed.
Not thinking anything about it my husband would massage my breast and roll my nipples right in front of my mother.
For us it was all about the business of getting
our son to latch on.
Now looking back we have a good laugh as we picture my husband massaging my breasts and rolling my nipples as my mother
sat across from us.
