Should Breast Pumping be Painful?

Should Breast Pumping be Painful?

The first few times you pump may feel uncomfortable, but should not be painful, result in sort nipples, or draw blood.

Pain, sore nipples, and nipple irritation or bleeding may be signs of a serious problem.

If you are injured or experience persistent pain or bleeding when using your breast pump, contact your doctor immediately.

Who Should I Contact if I Need Help with My Breast Pump?

If you are having trouble using your pump, a qualified health care professional may be able to help you.

If your pump is not working, contact the manufacturer.

Check the box or call information for the manufacturer's contact information.
