I have a son named Ethan Alexander.
He is 8 months old.
This photo was taken when he was about 4 months old.
 I
fought really hard to breastfeed my son.
Ethan had a short frenulum at birth.
I didn't find out about it until he was a month and a half old.
Ethan had to be hospitalized because his weight was extremely
low.
I got in touch with a wonderful La Leche League leader.
She supported me and fought for me to have my son's frenulum
snipped.
Ethan could then learn how to breastfeed correctly and gain
weight like he should.
It was the scariest time in my life.
I am so grateful to La Leche League, they saved my son's like.
