Jordan nursed until the age of 2 1/2.
One day when Jordan was three I wore a sweater with a zipper down the front.
Jordan sat on my lap and looked at the zipper.
Zippers for three year olds are for opening.
She opened the zipper and looked longingly at my breasts.
"Do you remember that you used to nurse from mommy's breasts?" I asked, reading her thoughts, "yes, I want to nurse!"
But I don't have any more milk in my breasts.
They fill with milk only when I have a baby to nurse and you are already a big girl!"
Jordan wasted no time; she jumped off my lap and headed straight to the fridge.
She took out a carton of milk, brought it to me and said: " Fill them up for me please mommy, I want to nurse!"
