Natural Weaning

by Betsy LaCroix My son decided to stop nursing on his 5th birthday.  He wanted a party to celebrate both his birthday and weaning.  He asked that the cake say, "Happy Birthday, Happy Weaning" so I ordered one that said just that.  The worker at the Baskin-Robbins said, "What is Weaning?"  This is my son Eli driving his go-kart, leading a parade from our house to a nearby park.  Happy Birthday, Happy Weaning Eli!
