By Celeste G.

My name is Celeste. I am married to Chris and our son Christopher, is now
4 years old.
He breast fed until he was 18 months old and we loved every minute of it!
Being a mom is hard work! Especially after an emergency c-section! Fortunately for me Christopher was a nursing champ from the moment that I got my hands on him!
He was back up to birth weight before we left the hospital 3 days later.
I had no problems with supply either and that's the understatement of the century.
My let down reflex was so strong that I had to have a cup under the breast that he
wasn't nursing on because I SPRAYED EVERYWHERE!
I could nurse him on one side and just about fill a 4 ounce bottle on the other
side just by catching the let down.
It regulated itself of course, thank God, but it was kind of unnerving at first.
I swear I could have nursed four kids on my initial supply! I
couldn't even give the stuff to him because he never took a bottle.
NEVER!
I tried to do expressed bottles with him occasionally on the off chance that Chris could take him just once at night or mom could take him while we went to a movie, but no dice.
Sigh. Is it any wonder that I fell asleep?
The pictures are of when Christopher was a baby and Christopher a couple of months
ago.
Breast fed babies are gorgeous! ;)
