Anything but country. It's funny, but each and every time I hear a song I like I find it can instantly put me in a good mood, no matter what's going on, but I never think to put music on when I'm in a funk. Same goes for a shower - I'm always surprised by what a mood lifter taking a shower can be but never think to pop into the shower to improve my mood.

Good Germs, Bad Germs, by Jessica Snyder Sachs. I HIGHLY recommend this book. It is utterly amazing and a surprisingly addictive read (the sort of book you hate to put down). I'm also in the middle of reading the Einstein biography by Walter Isaacson (another great book).

Sleep. Sleep. Oreos. Sleep.

Looking for other moms who breastfeed beyond the standard one year mark (really it seems to be more like the standard 9 month mark these days) so that I can talk to like-minded individuals. My son is currently 18 months old and loves to nurse!

Hi, my son is nearly 14 months and still nursing.  I plan to go at least to 2 years, as long as he wants.  He gets 4 to 8 ounces of formula a day, more if I work.  I started supplementing when I went back to work and would have stopped already, but it makes my husband so happy to be able to be entirely responsible for giving him "milk" sometimes.  --Carrie
