I have two daughters, ages 22 and 28, both of whom I nursed exclusively and to child-led weanings. I have been helping women nurse since soon after the birth of my first daughter.
I am an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I work full-time for public health and also have a private practice. I offer breastfeeding classes in several communities. I have organized and lead several Nursing Mothers' Support Group -- one of which has been in existence since October 2007.
Feel free to contact me with questions/concerns about breastfeeding. I had a wonderful woman I could turn to for advice about nursing my babies and have always felt like I was supposed to pass the gift she gave me to others.
