I'm 26 years old, married to a wonderful husband, and we just had our first baby (girl) in early November. I'm an elementary school teacher (K-8), but am going back to school for a masters in cardio thorasic P.A.

My husband is a Captain in the Air Force, so moving around every few years is normal although not fun for us... originally from New Jersey and am currently living in Colorado. It's very hard to be away from family and friends with a newborn. I am currently breastfeeding and need all the support I can get!!!

You can eat fish, that is awesome!

I eliminated everything and lost weight. My milk supply decreased so now I eliminated just soy and milk. There is no more blood in his stool. I have noticed if I eat to much bread (breadacholic) he seems fussy. He still has mystery rashes (head to toe) with eczema. ???

I hope all is well with you!

I go to the allergist on 5/27 again. She would not do the allergy test when I went before because of the steroid cream, etc. She wants to wait until he is 6 months. Well!! isnts she going to be suprised to see me sooner!  I am not going to watch my baby in pain and/or uncomfortable. SO I called and made the appointment. I wish there was another pedi allergist I could see.

Anyway... my husband is in the Army National Guard now. He is a black hawk pilot. When we were stationed in AL, where there is nothing including good coffee, I disliked it. I am an army brat but have spent most of my teen years---adult life in NYC and CT. It can be hard being away from your family and friends but it sounds like your being kept busy with your beautiful baby and school. Being away from NJ will get better. I always said once you live some place for a while it becomes your home. Well good luck.
