hi maabel,
thanks for replying . i tried very hard to post a new thread on the forum but just couldnt - finally i gave up and and sent you a message. i just went and rented  a symphony double pump ( hospital one) - its expensive to rent but i've heard good reviews .
are you freezing any of your milk? which bags do u use? any advice?
regards,
binny

I really don't have any milk frozen.  I never started a freezer stash.  I use the fresh milk.
You should really try to post in forums, I think you would really like it.
Here is how you do it....You have to be signed in.  Click on Forum, then click on the forums you want to post in, then click on new thread, type what you want and then click submit new thread.

Anyway....If you are not working yet, you should start freezing the milk.  Frozen milk will be good for up to 3-4 months, but you have to use it within 24 hours of defrosting.  Fresh milk last 7-8 days.

Hi benaifer.  I saw your message on the chat board.  YOu should post in the forums under general breastfeeding or pumping.  You will get a lot of comments back.  You can private message me anytime you want.  I am pumping as well.  It is frustrating, but worth it for my baby.

hi renee,
am wondering if you're storing any bm ? i am starting to freeze my bm and would like to know what breast milk storage bags to use since theres so many available.
any advice?

I use Gerber bags. As I pump during the day, I freeze all of the milk. I use the oldest date first and continue that each day. By the end of the day I only have 3-4 bags. I don't pump at home, only on the weekend to increase the supply of the bags to take to daycare. It seems to be working well this way. My son was born at 34 weeks but he was 7 lbs. I had to stop breast feeding due to the meds they gave me after the c-section and then I had to have my gallbladder removed 6 weeks after that. I continued to pump so my milk wouldn't dry up. I plan to nurse up until he gets teeth. I nursed my oldest until he was 9 months and he never even had a runny nose during that time!

Hello there!
You are so lucky to be able to pump that often. I just returned to work and I'm lucky if I can pump 3 times a day. It seems that now I can only pump 4-5 oz. each time. I keep drinking water, but it hasn't helped yet. Do you also nurse? I nurse before we leave the house and as soon as we get home and of course throught the night.
