My 31/2 month old daughter has been sleeping through the night for over a month, but all of a sudden for the last 3-4 days she has been waking up in the middle of the night to eat. She eats strictly breastmilk. I think that she may be going through a growth spurt and her little tummy gets hungry fast. Should I start her on like a teaspoon of oatmeal cereal before bed time? I know the pediatrician said about 4 months is when you can start them, I just don't know if this is too early... Does anyon... Read More



Getting Closer

Well our trip to CT is getting much, much closer.

For those who dont know in Juliy SO and I bought airline tickts to visit his girls in the Christmas holidays (Dec. 21-Jan 9.) I thought the trip was a little long but we agreed on the amount of days because I know he is dying to see his little girls and 8 or 9 days would have gone by too quick for him.

Well, I woke with contractions on Monday (June 23) morning about every 10 minutes apart. By that evening I was 2 cm. Not much but things were moving, or so I thought. Tuesday night I was only 2.5 cm. That was discouraging. My mom came out on Tues because I had been so sure Monday that the baby would arrive soon. Wednesday and Thursday passed with no change, still having contractions about every 10 minutes and they were a little stronger each day but just not enough to get anything done. Thur... Read More

So, long time, no write. We have been getting in the groove of our new routine so I haven't had much computer time. My little boy turned 10 on september 21st, double digits, so he got to have some good birthday parties. A small my-side family, a small his dad's-side, and a bowling party with cousins from both. Our families are very different and everone enjoys themselves more if we separate the celebrations. He got almost everything he wanted because he never asks for much (thank God). It was gr...
