I feel almost guilty even to try to give her a bottle, maby thats just me, but I love to nurse! I know that if i pumped she would still be getting my milk, but she wont take a pacifier let alone a bottle!any suggestions?

First, I want to say GREAT JOB!! for deciding to nurse your baby.  And it's great that you found this site too, as a nursing mother I've recieved lots of advice.
No, I've never had my gallbladder removed.  Yes, I understand the frustrations about giving baby a bottle.  The thought didn't sit well with me either!  If you are having surgery then I don't see any alternative though, especially if you are going to be given pain killers.  So the best thing to do is find a nice pump, you can buy or rent, and start pumping immediately to get the hang of it.  Some women have a very hard time pumping milk.  Also, start offering a bottle as soon as possible too, you want baby to be comfortable taking the bottle before you have surgery.   You should let some else offer the bottle, babies know that it's their momma trying to feed them from a bottle and most of them don't want anything to do with it.  It will be hard at first.  Just curious, how old is baby?  Let us know how things are going!!  Good luck!!
