drying up!!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying to breastfeed my baby but I


haven't had the chance to see if she will


latch on due to the fact that she is a


preemie and she has alot of tubes in her.


I'm afraid that my supply will end! I'm


barely pumping one oz. she was born on


sept. 20th /07 and my supply hasn't


picked up yet! I'm starting to feel that


I won't be able to nurse my baby. this


is making me feel sad...

have you consulted a lactation consultant?  I know they say a lot of the "wives tales" are a hoax but I swear by having a beer!  I have also read oatmeal helps. hang in there and I hope your baby gets stronger everyday! Plus, think of it this way, maybe that is all she needs right now so your body is doing right by her. I am no doctor so I could be wrong.
