Hi! I'm kinda in the same stage right now. My baby is 14 months,and only nurses twice a day. Once in the morning and then at bedtime.I think at this point it is mostly for her comfort when she is tired, because any other time I have to initiate, and the nursings don't last long because she is too easily distracted and buisy. I do know that as long as they are eating regular nutritious meals they don't need as much breastmilk, but it still benefits them. My Doc said that 2 to 3 nursings a day are sufficient, and to follow her lead. At this point I'm not doing anything to increase my milk supply and I seem to have enough,and I don't pump anymore. 
 He is just discovering the world around him, but still needs the closeness. So just keep doing what you are doing, and don't stress about it.

 

Hi! First I must say I'm definetly not a doctor but I can give some personal advice. I'd say go with the flow. It sounds to me like Logan is starting to wean on his own but doesn't seem to be 100% ready. My sister-in-laws daughter weaned herself at about 8 months old. Since she was such a young age and my sister-in-law wasn't pumping she supplemented her for about four months until she turned a year. This is her 3rd child and she has breastfed all of them! I'd say go with the flow though. It sounds like your doing a great job! I'm sure he is eating some baby food durning the day as well right?
