what to do?
Posted On 05/01/2008 07:33:41 by kinty007
Hi guys
just hoping someone can help me. My little one is 9 months and he is teething like mad at the mo. He hasn't eaten in 2 days now just back to exclusive bf, has anyone any suggestions or any cool tips that may help him? I'm really desperate at this stage, he isn't normally a child that cries but when he isn't sleeping at the mo he is crying. Please help as I don't know what to do for him to help him.

I use frozen fruit in one of those mesh pacifiers- I got mine at target.  DS really likes peaches in there or you can use banannas.

My baby will go through eating only breastmilk anf pacify on the breast when teething. I put oragel on his gums and that works sometimes. Other times I give him Mylicon for gas in the tummy. That also helps sometimes. I do have the problem that my child will not chew on anything to soothe his gums. I get lots of suggestions from my hubby when baby is just unhappy when nothing else works.

If the weather is good I take my baby on a walk outside in the stroller or just in my arms. That helps too. Good luck.

MY 3RD CHILD WOULD CRY OFTEN, GET FEVER, DIAHRREA, & LOOSE HES APPETITE 4 A FEW DAYS.  I GUESS JUST PUMP AND STORE UNTIL HE FEELS BETTER. STORE A LITTLE AT A TIME IN CASE HE DOEN'T DRINK THAT MUCH, SO YOU DON'T WASTE THE MILK.
