Ok...this is more of a vent.  My dh called himself being helpful by taking my breastpump and milk to the kitchen....Well, i told him to just sit it on the counter.  It was an Avent Isis IQ and I look around for the pump and find it sopping wet on the side of the sink.  He washed the motor!!!!  Duh!  Do they think at all ?!?!?  So now he's gonna have to buy me a bigger and better pump but geez...do they think...do they listen....ever?!!?!?!?

They try, sometime! I just believe an ingredient was lost on men! LOL He did try, though. But wouldn't it be easier for all involved if he would just say, "Honey, what can I do to help you?" and then listen, I mean really listen, to the answer. We have three children and my husband will say, "We are always late."  But he doesn't say, "I'm ready, what can I do?" Have you ever left the child(ren) home with him, while you went out for a few hrs, to yourself? I have, and when I get home he says, "I couldn't ever do this everday!" or "I didn't get anything done today, how do you do it?" For a short period of time he is awed by my "motherpower", and then he quickly forgets. Oh, well, I love him, and hope to have him raised by the time the last child leaves home!LOL We all know what you are talking about, though! I keep saying to my six month old, "When you are married, a good husband does..." That way I am training him young, and maybe, one day his wife will say I raised an outstanding man. Maybe, we mothers are to blame for the way a man turns out? Just a thought!
